Today, over 30 years later, we have become an industrial company capable of manufacturing over 1000 different products, which are exported worldwide, wherever people eat pizza. We are a world leader in the production of pizza peels and pizzeria utensils, a point of reference for professionals and amateurs alike, in Italy and abroad both for professionals and anyone else.
We are an Italian company based in Montale, in the province of Pistoia, with two foreign subsidiaries: one in the United States, in Chicago, and one in Brazil, in Curitiba.
Our mission is work alongside professional and amateur pizza makers, understand their needs and issues and develop solutions aimed at making their daily work better and easier.
As CEO Marco D’Annibale puts it: “the opinions of pizza makers is essential to designing our products. Gi.Metal products are the result of listening to pizza makers and figuring out their requirements. When we know what they need, we can increasingly fine-tune our professional instruments for pizzerias”.
We produce over 1000 products for pizzerias and the catering sector. Most of the products are 100% Made in Italy, which means quality, function and beauty. The production techniques and the materials used are constantly tested and updated to achieve the maximum function, convenience, strength and safety, as proven by the ISO 9001:2015 quality certification obtained via TÜV Italia.

Today, the U.S. pizza business has an annual turnover of $55.5 billion, and per capital consumption stands at 13 kg per year, making it the world’s leading market for pizza. Marco D’Annibale, CEO of Gi.Metal s.r.l., had realized its potential way back in 1994: this rich, thriving market soon began yielding satisfying results, starting with the first trade show in Las Vegas, which was held in 2000. Four years later, the first U.S. branch of Gi.Metal Italia was opened in Chicago (IL): Gi.Metal USA. Thanks to their high quality, the products marketed under this Italian brand took the United States by storm, and Gi.Metal became an unrivalled leader in Made in Italy products even overseas.

A complete logistic digitalization of the 8000 sqm plant allows us to fulfil orders very quickly for all of the catalogue items.
In the last few years, Gi.Metal has taken its first steps on the path towards environmental sustainability so as to be responsible for the needs of our planet.

We take part in over 20 international trade fairs throughout the world every year, important occasions to strengthen already consolidated ties and to create new ones.
Gi.Metal also sponsors several events, such as national and international championships, pizza festivals, online and offline contests. We are also partner of organizations, associations and training schools, sustaining whoever genuinely undertakes to promote pizza quality across the globe.
The Gi.Metal factory houses the Palapizza: a facility designed to welcome customers coming from the whole world, to train future pizza makers, to illustrate and test products. The best technicians take turns in managing this special pizzeria, which through the years has become a training centre for pizza making apprentices, and a facility for demonstrations and updates intended for professional pizza makers. This is all done in collaboration with the best training schools, that avail of the Palapizza. “Relationships have always been the core of our business.
